Circular Economy
The publicly-owned company Ihobe is organising the Basque Circular Summit 2022 to take place from 23 to 25 November at the Ficoba trade fair centre in Irun. The subject for this international get-together for around 500 specialists from all over Europe is “Walking the talk”, and it will analyse the implications of the transition toward a circular economy model in industry and discuss business opportunities and methods to improve business competitiveness in various industrial sectors using the model.
The mission of the Basque Circular Summit 2022, organised in collaboration with the SPRI, is to present Basque companies with new challenges and opportunities in the circular economy driven by the European Green Deal by sharing the innovative results achieved by Basque companies in the circular economy, and to introduce them to the tools, guides and manuals that the Basque Government has produced to help Basque Companies transition to production methods based on the circular economy.Basque Circular Summit 2022 is the new name for the Basque Ecodesign Meeting (BEM), which has already been held successfully in the Basque Country four times. This new edition evolves from ecodesign to the circular economy and is aimed at an audience of Basque enterprises wanting to learn about and apply successful developments by eco-innovative companies, public bodies and administrations, Basque and international clusters and associations and regional and global agents of knowledge and innovation, among others, to drive the circular economy in the Basque Country. Capacity is limited to around 500 people. If you don’t want to miss out on anything, pre-register before places run out. To pre-register for the event, visit https://basquecircularsummit.eus/en/.
