Ihobe supports Aclima, the Basque Environment Cluster, at the sector's most important fair in Munich
IFAT is the leading trade fair for water, waste and raw material management and technologies, and is being held in Munich from 13 to 17 May
Ihobe is attending the event to support the Aclima cluster in order to bolster the technological leadership of the Basque environmental sector, by positioning the Basque Country as a benchmark in the development of environmental technologies at global level. As part of the events promoted by Aclima, the Basque environmental sector is represented in Munich by a large number of companies from the sector and public entities, that will showcase Basque Green Tech, those applications of innovative technologies to address the green transition.Alexander Boto Bastegieta, Ihobe's General Manager, is travelling to Munich along with Jose María Fernández Alcalá, the Circular Economy Director at Ihobe, to showcase the international potential of Basque environmental companies
Ihobe's General Manager, Alexander Boto Bastegieta, will bring the "International Potential of Basque Environmental Companies" session to a close. The event will internationally showcase the work of this sector in the development of advanced environmental innovations and solutions. Along with the Ihobe General Manager, his counterpart at Aclima, Olga Martín, four companies participating on the cluster's stand (Afesa Agaleus, FCC Ámbito, Fivemasa SAU and LDX Europe), and Inke Carina, a leading specialist who will talk about the latest and future trends of the sector worldwide, will take part in the session.Aclima and the Basque environmental sector
Aclima, the Basque Environment Cluster, is the driving force behind this international mission, during which its 21 member entities and companies will take part with its own stand and parallel activities during the five days of IFAT 2024.

The Basque Country's participation at the fair will facilitate the setting up of international strategic alliances and cooperation networks to share expertise, technologies and best practices, and to bolster the Basque environmental sector in Europe. Indeed, Ihobe is there to support the endeavours of Aclima, by fostering private-public partnership and establishing agreements to drive technology transfer and expansion of commercial opportunities.At this international event in Germany, Aclima is also backed by the Basque Government's Ministry for Economic Development, Sustainability and the Environment, and the publicly-owned companies Spri and BasqueTrade & Investment, along with support from Bizkaia and Gipuzkoa Provincial Governments.
