The BasquESG initiative has the backing of the LIFE25-GIE-ES-LIFE ESG EUSKADI project, financed by the LIFE Programme of the European Union. This support is aimed at strengthening the resources of the initiative, at driving growth and at accelerating the rolling out of the sustainability (ESG) assessment system for Basque SMEs.

The LIFE project associated with BasquESG has a total budget of EUR 1,280,255, with EUR 768,153 coming from the European subsidy. The project has a duration of 36 months and will commence on 1 July 2026. It is aimed at driving the definitive rolling out of the sustainability (ESG) assessment system for Basque SMEs, fully in line with the European framework.
