This report aims to compile and analyse different environmental indicators that help to provide a visual and simplified idea of the quality of the environment in Basque territory. The analysis is divided into 9 environmental thematic areas, which have been selected based on the environmental vectors defined by the European Environment Agency and adapting them to the socio-economic context of the Basque Country.

This report is coordinated by Ihobe, the Basque Government's environmental management agency, whose functions include reporting to society in an easy-tounderstand way on the progress and most important challenges of the evolution of the environment in the Basque Country.
