The Environmental Framework Program is the yardstick to set the Basqeu Country's sustinability policy until the end of the decade,, and will set the course towards a more sustainable territory by 2030.

The main novelty of the PMA 2030 with respect to previous programs lies in its very conception; on this occasion it does not focus on the definition of a package of environmental objectives, since these are already perfectly defined and it is not necessary, therefore, for it to be just another plan or a strategy that brings together plans. Its application is transversal, reaching a wide diversity of areas of socioeconomic activity in the Basque territory.
